Kathryn Vallee

“Real estate is my second language”, says Kathryn Vallee, who brings to the industry an ideal combination of education; cumulative, personal hands-on knowledge, solid experience, and a unique understanding of human nature.
As a second-generation, licensed real estate agent since 2001, she has incorporated her early teen training as her mother’s sidekick in the business, with the way she employs those important experiences every day in her prolific career. She first learned the basics and initial processes of real estate (listing appointments, market lingo, showings, negotiation strategies, etc.) protocol; but most important, she learned the significance of listening to and understanding her clients’ needs and wants in a delicately balanced, supportive professional relationship.

You don’t often hear successful professionals speak of only “doing what one loves”, unless they are one-hundred percent convinced, and one-hundred at east and happy with their chosen careers. This perfectly defines Kathryn Vallee’s work ethic. Her energy, knowledge and vast experience grace her with a particular flair and standard of excellence that is not ordinarily perceived in the industry. Clients are gratified, yet sometimes amazed, at her ability to meticulously hone-in on the perfect home or investment property of their dreams.
Her riveted concentration and attention to discovering the right place and property for each client often means delving into a myriad of complex details (for buyer and/or seller), while maintaining communication with them and lowering the stress factor in what may be major, life-changing decisions. According to Kathryn, sometimes it’s a matter of focusing on the right details; the issues that matter most to clients --- can make a positive difference.

Professionally and Personally
• A Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication has enhanced Kathryn’s expert, consultative skills, especially when clients consider purchasing a second home as a VRBO investment.
• Having a military Dad made Kathryn sensitive to the trials of family relocation through real estate market ups and downs.
• CDPE - During the market correction in 2008, she quickly adapted her business to assist buyers and sellers to navigate the complex real estate market. Her required negotiation skills with financial institutions for an optimal outcome, gave her the experience of a lifetime; one even her mother, after 28 years, did not have. She earned a certification in managing and selling distressed properties (CDPE), and along with her business partner/husband, she was able to help over 500 families buy or sell their home during this period.
• CLHMS (2006) - Kathryn is an active guild member of the prestigious Certified Luxury Home Specialist Designation. As a member, her achievement is recognized in luxury markets around the world. As a real estate professional with GUILD status, she is recognized as knowledgeable, experienced and uniquely skilled in meeting and exceeding real estate expectations for today’s most discerning luxury buyers and sellers.

• Kathryn relaxes by pursuing the finer arts. As a former Fiber Artist, Kathryn enjoys loom weaving by hand; practices Feng Shui principles and enjoys fashion designing.

• She is an avid supporter of the independent film genre and volunteers with the Sundance Film Festival in her hometown.
• She is a continual supporter of Habitat for Humanity by donating funds for every home she sells and volunteers in the construction of new homes. The experience of being part of the team supporting the National Association of Realtors Habitat for Humanity project in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina struck, affected her deeply. It is something she’ll never forget.
• Kathryn respects and pursues the enriching benefits of spending time with her family in the greater outdoors where she explores natural wonders and makes new 4-footed friends.
